Maybe I'll try to keep up with this...there's so much going on...no money, teaching a class this summer, thinking about retirement, hoping to take a trip, etc.

Blogging

I feel like I need to add pictures everytime I post, since that was the old way. I'm really hoping to use a blog for my class next year...and maybe do a book review site for the library. It's a great place for dialog!

Scotland

These are my two favorite pictures from Scotland. This one is Scotch Broom and was taken in 2000 at Culloden.
This is one I just couldn't resist! We were on a Loch Ness cruise and were heading to the actual lock. The drawbridge swung around and then the crew started across. The dog wasn't crazy about it, but there he went. I was so glad I had my camera ready! 

Still life

The more I looked at this, the more I felt like this was a still life of my conference activities for a number of years...I guess I'll have to clean my bulletin board off at some point!

Low point of view

I loved this picture...my husband had put this on one of our trees months ago...I didn't notice it until a friend said something about it. I wanted to lie on the ground and take it, but the old bones just wouldn't do it!

Candid photograph

Not my best work...didn't want to use children because our county is very sticky on that, so this is a candid of Kodiak...the shadow doesn't help, but I felt it was a little interesting, maybe?

Landscape picture

Went to the Daffodil Festival in Gloucester this weekend and toured Brent and Becky's farm. The streak of red (tulips) in a sea of mostly yellow caught my eye and my camera!

First day of take your best shot...eager to learn digital imaging...pictures should be better and I should know more of what I want to do.
